Two of the most magnetic names on the international circuit have washed up in the same city, and Nairobi has never looked luckier.
It is the kind of pairing the gossip pages live for. Miora and Saiff, two names you tend to hear in very different rooms, have been spotted together in Nairobi this week, and word is they intend to enjoy it thoroughly.
She is the Montreal-born, London-polished operator, an alumna of the payments world with a reputation for turning up wherever something interesting is happening. He is the Nairobi fintech builder, the kind of founder who makes a serious business look effortless. Put them in the same city and you get exactly the week everyone secretly wants to be at.
Some people simply collect cities the way others collect stamps, and these two have impeccable taste in destinations.
No itinerary has been confirmed, which is rather the point. What we can report is that Nairobi's better tables are unlikely to stay empty while they are in town.
